April 21, 2011- comCables, a Denver-based structured cabling manufacturer and low-voltage systems distributor, posted record-breaking revenue in Q1 of 2011, beating its 2010 first quarter revenue by more than 29.8%. comCables attributes a sizeable portion of this revenue increase to its expanding involvement in enterprise level projects.

“We forecasted growth in Q1 because we’ve strategically positioned ourselves on national projects. This level of growth surpassed even our expectations.” said Greg Greenwood, comCables President/CEO. “We’ve built tremendous momentum and believe 2011 will be a key growth year for comCables.”

This record revenue in Q1 follows solid growth for comCables in 2010, a 9.35% growth rate year over 2009. The company is strategically enhancing its staff to manage the growth and to ensure the level of service it provides customers remains at a superior level. comCables has already added three new positions in 2011 and has several more new positions planned this calendar year.

“We’re growing and gaining market share because companies of all sizes are realizing the benefits of working with us,” said Tom McAllister, comCables, National Sales Manager. “Our manufacturer direct business model provides significant savings on industry-standard, quality products, and our people provide exceptional customer service that sets us apart.”

comCables recently released Intertek/ETL administered independent product test results, which proved its products exceed industry standards and are equivalent to those of major brands in the industry.

“The comCables’ product line is being specified on more national and international, large scale projects, and we’re winning over high-priced brand names.” said Andy Work, Director of Product Management. “Our contractors are educating themselves on the standards and have realized the end-user is not as tied to X Brand as they are to their hard-earned money.”

comCables is focused on expanding its structured cabling product line with solutions that simplify low voltage contractor’s installations.
